Virginia Madsen feels the pain while making 'Firewall'

BEVERLY HILLS , Calif. Actress Virginia Madsen has found out that when you're in an action movie like "Firewall," you're going to feel a little pain.

Madsen says she came to the first day of "Firewall" feeling like Wonder Woman: physically fit and ready to play a strong wife and mother. By the end of the shoot, she turned into what she calls a girly-girl.

She was bruised and aching all over. She had "giant bruises" on her knees. And her shoulder was in pain because when her family was taken hostage, her arms were kept tied behind her back. And she kept getting thrown down by the "bad guys" and getting hurt.

But Madsen says she was embarrassed about her little aches and pains when she saw the serious fight moves and stunts involving Harrison Ford as the hero and Paul Bettany as the lead bad-guy.

"Firewall" opens today.
